“Forgotten Anchors” is a video layering filmed sequences of stopmotion and digital animation projected onto cast concrete forms, set to an audio composition using samples of sound from a dishwasher running.
It explores the discomfort of grief for lost buildings and their pasts becoming a proxy for working through familial grief, mental health and existential dread.
